Dependable People Often Win
Dependable people are a a great asset to any team. Faithfulness to a job, a marriage, or a cause can accomplish great things and provide wonderful rewards. Lack of faithfulness often brings misery.
Your dependability will be tested. It’s easy to be dependable when things are going well. It’s when challenging situations come to your life that faithfulness will be tested. Can people count on you when times are tough? Your boss, your family, and other people in your life depend on you in good and bad times.
Some people believe that it’s big things that reveal how dependable you are. Little things reveal your attitude toward responsibilities too. It’s the things that no one sees that reveal how dependable you truly are.
A tradesmen must apprentice under another before he can get his ticket to be on his own. In the same way, you are being tested with the things of someone else to see if you can be dependable. Luke 16:12 asks a question: If you are not faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? You don’t have to own something to respect it. You don’t have to own an apartment or a car to show dependability as you benefit from it.
Your dendability to others is a key to moving forward in your life.
